Sameer Pednekar, an entrepreneur from India, came out with the idea that it needs to be better for customers who are unable to visit stores to buy books, especially during COVID-19 when people can’t go to bookstalls due to lockouts and risking losses. With his experience managing several stores he had a few insights about what he wanted but the end product was pretty open to discussion. It would be my job to understand those insights and address them. I would create the product from scratch, hire developer, overview the development stages, and handle the user testing. All that while helping with business strategy, market fit, branding decisions, user acquisitions, and much more.

“Bookista” is an online book store platform. Bookista has number of offline stores and this project is all about designing their online presence by making a E-commerce website as well as an app.
