The co-founder of airbnb and entrepreneur from New York City, Brian Chesky, contacted me at 2008 with the idea that it should be simpler for creatives to update their current website for better UI and UX experience. After its initial launch, Airbnb invested in extensive UX research and a thoughtfully designed website UI to create a user-centered platform. Through comprehensive research, Airbnb gathered valuable insights about user preferences, pain points, and behavior to inform the design process. The resulting website UI is intuitive, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. The focus was on providing an immersive experience that seamlessly connects travelers with unique accommodations worldwide. By leveraging data and user feedback, Airbnb successfully crafted a user-friendly environment that invites exploration, inspires trust, and facilitates seamless booking experiences for users accessing the platform for the first time.

Thanks to my work at Airbnb in the areas of UI design and UX research, customers  get a more personalized and immersive experience, which makes it easier for them to enjoy the booking process and that cemented the notion for a brighter future in the hospitality industry.
